Everyday people take selfies. They take selfies at the mall, at a party or just in bed, but why do we take these lone pictures of ourselves? Well it's probably because we look hot. Here are a few tips that I use when taking a Selfie!
Firstly, I like to get out at sunset to get good peachy lighting. It makes you look more tanned to begin with, and happens to distract from features you may not want people to be focused on. While you should mostly utterly love yourself, it's okay to want people to see the best perspective of yourself. I know I'm always looking for loop holes! Just make sure you stay authentic to who you are.
Secondly, angles are everything! If you're not aware of your angles then hit up a mirror because there is no excuse. Everyone has angles in which you look skinnier or taller, or for that matter, anything you want! It's okay to want to cheat the system and kind of change your look, because it's whatever you're comfortable with.
Thirdly and finally, choose your setting. Wherever you are you don't want to be in front of a black wall if you're already pale, or in front of scenery where the colors don't match your outfit. It's always important to know exactly where you're going before you snap that picture. Otherwise you could look really bad if your not contrasting colors.
So there you have it! Follow my tips and I can assure you the likes will start rolling in. Make sure you stay true to who you are and be authentic, because at the end of the day no one wants to see the same thing over and over again.
